Bruce is responsible for managing and serving as principal investigator for efficacy field trials including establishment of trials, evaluations, reporting of data, and providing expert witness in court of law.

Bruce has been involved in agricultural research since 1981 and joined Heartland in 1994. He received his B.S. degree in Agronomy and M.S. degree in Plant Pathology from the University of Illinois and his Ph. D. in Plant Pathology from Purdue University.
